No. 49 Captured

Hermione walked at Severus' side. She looked down at his hand, he still had yet to hold her hand in public. She paused when the baby kicked. Severus looked down to her and put an arm around her.
"Are you alright?" Severus asked her. Hermione nodded as they continued through hogsmeade.
"Oy! Hermione! Severus!" They looked up to see Rosemerta waving to them from the three broomsticks. Hermione went to wave but the look on her faces changed from a smile to fear. Before Hermione could turn, severus was jerked backwards.

Hermione turned and found a deatheater had apparated behind Severus and was choking him with a piece of rope.
"Severus!" She cried out and reached for her wand but found someone had been behind her as well. They grabbed her hands and she struggled. She watched as Severus was brought to his knees.
"Don't.....fight them!.....the Baby!" Severus wheezed as he tried to free the rope from his neck. Hermione refused and looked over her shoulder. She saw the Deatheaters head was right behind hers. She flung her head backwards. The mask cracked and the deatheater stumbled back.

Hermione reached for her wand again but the deatheater shot a curse at her. The deatheater that had hold of Severus tightened the rope until Severus stopped struggling. He closed his eyes and sank to the ground.
"You Idiot!" He shouted at his companion. He ran to Hermiones side, she had landed on the ground unconscious.
"The Dark Lord wanted that baby alive!" He bellowed.
"I only stunned her!" The other yelled at her.
"Thats all it takes!" The first said and picked Hermione up then apparated. The other followed.

Rosemerta ran to Severus' side and dropped to her knees and pulled her wand from her bodice. She said a resusitation spell.
"Severus, Wake up!" She said, shaking him. She said the spell again and Severus began to cough violently. Rosemerta pulled him up forward. He sat there coughing and rubbing his neck.
"Wher-" He tried but it sent him into a fit of coughs and wheezing. The rope had almost crushed his throat.
"Come on, let's get you to Madame Pomfrey" Rosemerta said and helped him to his feet. He was very unsteady. He tried to walk, he couldn't seem to walk a straight line. Severus was also still seeing a spotty tunnel vision. He could not say that he knew what it was like to be severely oxygen deprived.

Two...possibly three chapters later......(horrible I know)

"Hide her in the Oubliette, Nagini!" Voldemort hissed, running his fingers down Hermiones face. She couldn't keep her eyes open anymore and fell into slumber.
"Yes Master?" Nagini asked.
"Miss Granger, Do you like her?" Voldemort asked her.
"Pregnant females are always a source of fond feelings," Nagini said. Voldemort smiled.
"Good, I want you to protect her and her baby. She's going to be asleep for a while but I dont want anyone going anywhere near her without my permission," Voldemort said with a smirk. Nagini agreed and followed Lucius to the Oubliette.

Once inside the caves Lucius laid Hermione against a slanted rock and stepped back as Nagini drapped herself around hermione. She provided Hermione a pillow and body heat. Lucius leaned forward to take Hermione wand and Nagini hiss at him. Lucius stepped back with his hands in the air. Nagini watched Lucius leave and then got comfortable, she had a long wait ahead of her.
